Since the beginning of Russian invasion Popenko was active participant of volunteer movement. After occupation of Melitopol, he started working in humanitarian foundation \u201cSupport of Melitopol\u201d and supplied drugs. He openly expressed his patriotic opinions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As the CJI already <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/investigator.org.ua\/ua\/news-2\/244027\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, recently volunteer Illja Yenin was abducted from his house. He helped residents of occupied territories with food products. His whereabouts are unknown. Entrepreneur Yevhen Pokoptsev was also abducted.
