The State Security Service of Ukraine informed about suspicion in collaborator activity and war crimes to Yevhen Balytsky, head of occupation \u00abadministration of Zaporizhzhia oblast\u00bb, Berdyansk \u00abmayor\u00bb Oleksandr Saulenko, appointed by occupants, and Volodymyr Stelmachenko, \u00abdirector\u00bb of Berdyansk Sea Port. As State Security Service informs they helped Russia to steal Ukrainian grain on the temporary occupied territories of the Ukrainian South. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The State Security Service of Ukraine identified collaborators<\/a> in Melitopol and Berdyansk who helped Russia to steal over 650 thousand tons of Ukrainian grain with\u00a0estimated value of over 200 million USD on the temporary occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, as the Center for Journalist Investigations informs.<\/p>\n

Head of occupation \u00abadministration of Zaporizhzhia oblast\u00bb Yevhen Balytsky, \u00abBerdyansk mayor\u00bb Oleksandr Saulenko and \u00abdirector\u00bb of Berdyansk Sea Port Volodymyr Stelmachenko bear responsibility for this war crime.<\/p>\n

As the State Security Service reports, Balytsky issued \u00abdecree\u00bb in accordance with which the property of six agricultural enterprises and grain terminals on the territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast was illegally transferred to company \u00abState Grain Operator\u00bb created by occupants.<\/p>\n

Fake \u00abmayor\u00bb Saulenko together with \u00abdirector\u00bb of Berdyansk Sea Port Stelmachenko secured illegal withdrawal of grain from warehouses and its further loading on a ship \u00abZhibek Zholy\u00bb under Russian flag. Grain stolen in temporary occupied South of Ukraine was transported through sea ports and terminals located in occupied Crimea. Russia used the following ships under Syrian and Russian flags: \u00abNadezhda\u00bb, \u00abSormovsky-48\u00bb, \u00abFedor\u00bb, \u00abMatros Koshka\u00bb, \u00abMatros Pozynich\u00bb, \u00abZhibek Zholy\u00bb, \u00abSv.Konstantin\u00bb, \u00abMikhail Nenashev\u00bb and \u00abLaodicea\u00bb.<\/p>\n

Accusations were put forward by the State Security Service of Ukraine, according to three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: part 8 of article 111-1 (collaborator activity), article 111-2 (aiding aggressor), part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 (violation of war laws).<\/p>\n

The property and corporate rights of Balytsky and his family were arrested (4 planes in Kyiv oblast; total value is over 149 million UAH).<\/p>\n

As reported earlier, Balytsky was informed about suspicion<\/a> in collaborator activity on May 26, 2022.<\/p>\n

The CJI reported about caravans with stolen Ukrainian grain, visible by satellites, and schemes of transportation of stolen\u00a0grain through Crimea in an investigation \u00abKerch way of \u00abgrain express<\/a>\u00bb.<\/p>\n
