Occupation \u201cadministration\u201d of Kherson actively \u201crenames\u201d cultural and educational institutions of the city. Recently its representatives announced that the Palace of children\u2019s and youth creativity would be called \u201cPalace of pioneers\u201d. Its \u201copening\u201d is planned for September 15. Invaders and their collaborators already \u201crenamed\u201d two theatres. New \u201cdirectors\u201d are appointed in all occupied institutions. <\/b><\/p>\n

Residents of Kherson informed the Center for Journalist Investigations<\/a> about these events. Information about new \u201cdirectors\u201d was published by Russian propaganda telegram channels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe will revive old traditions\u201d \u2013 this is how occupants explained the necessity \u201cto rename\u201d Kherson Palace of children\u2019s and youth creativity into the \u201cPalace of pioneers\u201d. They found new \u201cdirector\u201d Oleksandr Babii for this \u201cPalace\u201d. Local teachers do not know this person.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDirector\u201d of the \u201cPalace of pioneers\u201d informed that he was going to open many sections for children in the Palace: \u201cskillful hands\u201d, choreography, martial arts, vocal etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThough we do not have teachers, we will revive these sections\u201d, as Oleksandr Babii persuaded.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Occupants \u201crenamed\u201d Kherson Oblast Academic Puppet Theatre. They called it the \u201ctheatre for young viewers\u201d and organized \u201cgrand opening\u201d with erotic premiere show for adults \u201cDrama. Absurd. Seagull\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Poderecha Oleksandr Ivanovych was appointed as the \u201cdirector\u201d of this theatre. He was in Odessa on February 7, 1984. He calls himself \u201ca simple restaurant musician\u201d. As he said, before the Russian occupation, he sang \u201cRussian chanson\u201d in restaurants of Odesa and Moscow oblast and <\/span>organized concerts<\/span><\/a>. Poderecha is registered as the physical person-enterpreneur in the sphere of theatre and concert activity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Russian occupants \u201crenamed\u201d Kherson Oblast Academic Music and Drama Theatre named after Mykola Kulish into \u201cKherson Oblast Russian Academic Music and Drama Theatre\u201d. They announced recruitment of actors, painters and ballet artists. They recognized acute shortage of personnel and invited people without any relevant education.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As CJI reported, occupants <\/span>appointed former guard of the theatre Valerii Sheludko as the \u201cdirector\u201d<\/span><\/a> of occupied theatre named after Mykola Kulish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
