Russian invaders occupied production facilities of large private enterprises of Kherson region: JSC \u00abChumak\u00bb, Kakhovka branch of \u00abCargill\u00bb, Novakakhovka river port etc. Russian occupation authorities are going to transfer them under \u00abexternal management\u00bb of Russian companies. They initiated registration of seized Ukrainian assets and legal entities in the Russian jurisdiction, as the Center for Journalist Investigations was informed by its own sources on occupied territories of Kherson region.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

LLC \u00abTroika\u00bb, producer of mineral water under the brand \u00abKakhovka\u00bb, was among the first enterprises seized by Russian occupants. Invaders broke into its premises and appointed new \u00abmanagers\u00bb in spring: all of them worked in the enterprise of consumer cooperation \u00abKakhovsky rynok\u00bb of Kherson oblast association of consumer cooperation.<\/span><\/p>\n

Russian occupants did the same with other enterprises of Kherson region. They appointed local collaborator Dmytro Kuryshko as the new \u00abdirector\u00bb for supermarket \u00ab33 kv.m.\u00bb in Kakhovka at the beginning of autumn. They stole remaining goods and declared them \u00abtheir property\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

They occupied production facilities of the Kakhovka branch of large American company \u00abCargill\u00bb, trading grain and oil crops, processing sunflower and soy. Its oil extraction plant is located in Kakhovka. It is among top ten manufacturers of unrefined sunflower oil. Recently occupants declared \u00abrecruitment of new personnel\u00bb for \u00abCargill\u00bb branch.<\/span><\/p>\n

Facilities of JSC \u00abChumak\u00bb were among the last seized by Russian invaders. They also declared recruitment of personnel and prepare \u00abregistration\u00bb of the enterprise \u00abin accordance with the Russian legislation\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n

Occupants seized \u00abNovokakhovka river port\u00bb situated in Tavriisk city of Kakhovka district. The port will be \u00abmanaged\u00bb by its employees who decided to cooperate with invaders. Port was recently shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Its territory was damaged, administrative building was ruined and a part of military equipment was destroyed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Volodymyr Saldo, traitor and \u00abgovernor\u00bb of Kherson oblast, declared several times that all enterprises of the region, whose owners went to the territory controlled by Ukraine, would be transferred under \u00abexternal management\u00bb. Occupants are going to transfer them to Russian legal entities. This process has been already initiated.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the CJI reported, JSC \u00abChumak\u00bb situated in Kherson region changed its legal address after the Russian occupation. Its enterprise processes fruits, vegetables; manufactures ketchup, tomato paste, sunflower oil, mayonnaise and pasta. The company with foreign investments abandoned its address in temporary occupied Kakhovka in the middle of May and was <\/span>registered<\/span><\/a> in the Kyiv office of \u00abDelta Wilmar Ukraine\u00bb company. Both companies have the same final beneficiary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, declared \u00abspecial military operation\u00bb in occupied Donbas on February 24, 2022. Russia hit the Ukrainian territory by rockets and initiated full scale invasion along four directions. The Armed Forces of Ukraine fight with the enemy.
