Military objects of the southern shore of Sevastopol City protect the base of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation from the south. There are radar stations, warehouses of armament, and various special purpose units. That is to say there are more military targets for Ukrainian high precision weapons than in the northern side of Sevastopol (see our <\/b>previous material<\/b><\/a>).\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

We address our <\/b>series of materials about Russian military objects in Crimea<\/span><\/a>, legitimate targets for Ukraine, to our citizens in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. They need this information, in order to stay away from these objects and secure their personal safety.<\/b><\/p>\n

Large base of missile armament is located in the forest of Kara-Oba Valley (its length is 3 kilometers; 44.606966, 33.687290) near Sakharna Golovka, to the west from Inkerman.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sevastopol mobile gas turbine power plant is located to the south, near Sevastopol-Yalta Highway (coordinates 44.578562, 33.611897). It has been built from mobile gas turbines transferred by the Russian Federation to Crimea, in order to overcome energy blockade of the occupied peninsula.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Balaklava power plant stands two kilometers away, between Fedukhin Mountains and Sapun Mountain (coordinates 44.553995, 33.602765). It is built by Russian occupants and equipped with Siemens turbines supplied to Crimea despite international sanctions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These power plants are not military objects. They supply electricity not only to Sevastopol and its military objects but also to other Crimean settlements.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The base of the 561<\/span>st<\/span> emergency rescue center of the Special Operations Forces of the Russian Navy is located between Gasfort Lake and Morozivka village (Alsuv) in Alsu Valley (coordinates 44.524151, 33.698455).<\/span><\/p>\n

The center was set up in 2015 on the basis of two units: diver training battalion of the Russian Navy and center for training deep divers and rescuers (it was located in Lomonosov City near Sankt Petersburg). However, current name of the center is misleading as its main purpose is to prepare and train specialists on diversions and special operations. More detailed information about the 561<\/span>st<\/span> emergency rescue center will be provided in the next article about Russian military targets for Ukraine in Crimea.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Anti-ship missiles of the 15<\/span>th<\/span> coastal missile brigade are situated to the south of Reservne village, in the forest covering Biller Mountain Range (coordinates 44.455486, 33.665639).<\/span><\/p>\n

The brigade is currently equipped with \u201cBal\u201d and \u201cBastion\u201d anti-ship complexes. There is also division of tactical coastal anti-ship complex \u201cUtes\u201d (known as \u201cobject 100\u201d), with \u201cProgress\u201d 3M44 missiles. After its seizure and reconstruction, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation regularly reports about training missile launches.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As Ukraine does not have full-fledged fleet, these missiles threaten Ukrainian partners from NATO. That is why it makes sense to destroy this object.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
