Since Russian full scale invasion into Ukraine, so-called Russian \u00abvolunteers\u00bb have applied for Putin\u2019s grants with projects \u00abhelping\u00bb Ukrainians on newly occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions after their \u00abliberation\u00bb by Russian troops. <\/strong><\/p>\n \u00abThe Center of Support of Vulnerable Population \u00abPereprava\u00bb [crossing] has received three Putin\u2019s grants for almost 7 million Rubles. This Yalta based organization has been created to rehabilitate drug and alcohol addicted people. Now organization helps homeless people. They sew trousers and hats for participants of Russian \u00abspecial military operation\u00bb and make camouflage nets and field heating devices.<\/p>\n \u00ab500 trousers and 500 hats have been made and delivered to the Russian Army free of charge during project implementation in Yalta\u00bb, as describes its project \u00abPereprava\u00bb.<\/p>\n The project planned to deliver \u00abassistance\u00bb to residents of Kherson region and to open its office in Genichesk. Olga Oleksandrivna Yavorska<\/strong> has been its first head<\/a>. In February 2023, she registered her individual entrepreneurship (trade of cosmetic and hygiene goods) in the Russian State Business Register. Yavorska entered Russian political party \u00abFair Russia-Patriots \u2013 for Truth\u00bb and became a member of the managerial board<\/a> of its office opened on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.<\/p>\n Kuntsak Viktoria Oleksandrivna<\/strong> has been appointed as her deputy (date of birth \u2013 18.07.1972). In accordance with \u00abDatabase of traitors of Kherson<\/a>\u00bb, the collaborator came to Genichesk from Kharkiv, where she headed residential cooperative.<\/p>\n It seems that Kuntsak came to occupied Kherson region with Russian occupation \u00abgovernor\u00bb Andrii Alekseenko who had to flee to Genichesk from Kharkiv after Ukrainian liberation of Kharkiv region. On the other hand, information<\/a> about office of \u00abPereprava\u00bb in Azovske village of Genichesk raion has been published. The organization was going to use its last grant of 4 million Rubles for opening \u00abshelter\u00bb in Alushta. Refugees were indicated as project beneficiaries. Project was expected to cover \u00abliberated territories\u00bb.<\/p>\n \u00abThis project for integration of homeless people focuses, first of all, on the work with documents or the receipt of the Russian citizenship. It is about former citizens of Ukraine\u2026 the process of receiving Russian citizenship is time and labor consuming\u00bb, as write authors of the project. Next year organization is going to open \u00abshelter\u00bb in Alupka. For this purpose, it applied to Putin\u2019s Fund for almost 5 million Rubles.<\/p>\n Resident of Yalta Shurynov Yurii Valeriyovych <\/strong>has been the head of \u00abPereprava\u00bb. Before 2018, he has been individual entrepreneur for a year and then he switched to politics. He became a member of \u00abyouth parliament under the State Council of Crimea\u00bb. In May 2020, he headed \u00abInternational youth center of sports and patriotic training and creative development \u00abPereprava\u00bb. In November 2020, Shurynov founded limited liability company \u00abPereprava\u00bb.<\/p>\n In 2022, Shurynov has been \u00abthe deputy head of public council of Yalta\u00bb. He has been also appointed as the head of children\u2019s and youth center \u00abWings\u00bb, the former non-profit to fight drug and alcohol addiction. Photo: social media<\/em><\/p><\/div>\n Another Crimean \u00abvolunteer\u00bb Yevhen Andriyovych Pichugin<\/strong> and his \u00abTeam of opportunities\u00bb have also received Putin\u2019s grant \u00abto help\u00bb inhabitants of Kherson region.<\/p>\n 38 years old Pichugin has been born in Crimea city of Krasnoperekopsk. He is deputy director of \u00abAssociation of Entrepreneurs of Crimea\u00bb, a member of so-called \u00abpublic council of Crimea\u00bb and \u00abpublic council under the Ministry of Information Policy of Crimea\u00bb. In 2014, he was awarded \u00abFor Protection of Crimea\u00bb medal whereas in 2023 \u2013 the watch from Sergii Aksyonov. He received a lot of letters of gratitude, in particular, from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Head of Russian Investigative Committee Bastrykin \u00abfor support of soldiers and delivery of humanitarian goods to the frontline\u00bb.<\/p>\n As CJI reported<\/a>, Pichugin has been among the first \u00abvolunteers\u00bb who started visiting from Crimea newly occupied territories and supporting Russian troops. In April 2022, he reported that his team bought drones (\u00abvery demanded by Russian intelligence\u00bb), infrared cameras, optical rangefinders and sleeping bags for 4 million Rubles.<\/p>\n In October 2022, Pichugin\u2019s project titled \u00abProgram of support, protection and enlightenment of population of liberated territories of Kherson and Kherson region\u00bb received 4 million Rubles from Putin\u2019s Fund.<\/p>\n The project delivered \u00abhumanitarian aid\u00bb to people and worked with children to correct their \u00abRussophobic positions\u00bb: \u00abThe work with children should be conducted on reunited territory to revive the \u00abRussian world\u00bb\u2026 Master classes on painting, meetings with the use of art therapy to stabilize phycho-emotional status\u00bb\u2026<\/p>\n Target audiences of Pichugin\u2019s project have been children and teenagers from 5 to 20 years.<\/p>\n \u00abI received my own experience when we worked with children from the end of April 2022 to the middle of July 2022. He has been accused<\/a> of state treason, breaking territorial integrity of Ukraine, supporting Russian occupation of Crimea and organizing \u00abreferendum\u00bb in 2014.<\/p>\n Slusarenko received 2 million Rubles from Putin\u2019s Fund to conduct \u00abXVI Union patriotic camp-forum \u00abYoung Guard. The Fund also allocated 2,5 million Rubles for another Slusarenko’s project \u2013 \u00abUnion people patriotic project \u00abOur Great Motherland\u00bb.<\/p>\n The camp at the lake of Donuzlav has been created in 2007 when pro-Russian activists, including Slusarenko, held there an event against international military sea training \u00abSea Breeze\u00bb. One of project tasks has been \u00absupply of food, clothing, heating devices and sleeping bags to soldiers of the Russian Army, participants of special military operation\u00bb.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u00abHumanitarian center\u00bb of Russian priests has been created in April 2023 \u00abto help vulnerable people in the area of special military operation and refugees\u00bb. The center has been headed by 44 years old Dmytro Yuriyovych Krotkov<\/strong>, resident of Simferopol and a priest of church under the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Crimea. After the beginning of the \u00abspecial military operation\u00bb, Krotkov has delivered aid to occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. He told<\/a> Russian media \u00abRIA-Novosti\u00bb about \u00abunfriendly\u00bb attitude towards his \u00abhumanitarian convoy\u00bb in occupied Kalanchak: \u00ab30 local people came with their leader. They shouted \u00abGlory to Ukraine\u00bb, encircled cars and wanted blood\u00bb.<\/p>\n It is interesting that neither priest Krotkov nor Crimean Archdiocese applied for Putin\u2019s grant. It has been \u00abSpiritual center of Saint Great King Vladimir\u00bb headed by Sevastopol priest Khaluta Sergei Mikhailovich<\/strong>. This priest serves in Saint Vladimir Cathedral in Chersonese. He dreams to manage \u00abThe Ancient City of Tauric Chersonese and Its Chora\u00bb listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n He knew how to make \u00abbeneficial\u00bb connections and friends. In 2012, he campaigned for Pavlo Lebedev, the candidate for the Ukrainian parliament.<\/p>\n Khaluta has also made friendship with motor biker Surgeon, the leader of Russian propagandist group of bikers \u00abnight wolves\u00bb. However, Khaluta held this position only three days. Under pressure of the collective of museum and public protests, he has been dismissed. Since then, he has repeatedly promoted the idea to return \u00abTauric Chersonese\u00bb under management of the Russian Orthodox Church. He supervises four church parishes in Sevastopol.<\/p>\n Putin\u2019s Fund allocated almost 5 million Rubles to Sevastopol office of the Russian Red Cross<\/strong> \u00abto help\u00bb Ukrainian refugees with disabilities. Authors of project argued that Ukrainians \u00absuffered\u00bb from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is worth noting that they called \u00abspecial military operation\u00bb as \u00abspecial operation to de-nationalize Ukraine\u00bb.<\/p>\n Charitable fund \u00abSpecial view\u00bb received over 3 million Rubles to support families, having children with disabilities. Authors of the project identified their beneficiaries as \u00abfamilies living on liberated territories and relocated to the territory of the Russian Federation\u00bb.<\/p>\n The project of charitable fund \u00abHeart of Sevastopol\u00bb titled \u00abWe do not abandon our people\u00bb received almost 2 million Rubles to \u00abhelp\u00bb 50 families brought from Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions to Sevastopol. Since 2018, the fund has been headed by Makeeva Anastasia Volodymyrivna<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Mother of three children, Anastasia Makeeva pretends to be not only volunteer but also sniper with call sign \u00abLavanda\u00bb. Since 2014, she has brought \u00abhumanitarian aid\u00bb to Donbas and fought there. Since the beginning of Russian \u00abspecial military operation\u00bb, she became volunteer and participant of \u00abspecial operation\u00bb. In April 2022, Sevastopol media reported that Makeeva was wounded into stomach when she evacuated, i.e. deported, children from Eastern Ukraine. In November 2022, she with her mother participated<\/a> in popular Russian TV \u00abMalakhov\u00bb show. She claimed that she had to leave her children with her grandmother as she would like \u00abto kill Nazi\u00bb.<\/p>\n \u00abThe war is a job like motherhood is. I have no choice.
