Russian propaganda creates illusion of peaceful life on liberated Ukrainian territories. Occupants inform about preparation for the resort season in Azov region and call people from Ukraine, the Russian Federation, and «Donbas republics». At the same time, abductions are going on occupied territories of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Today the head of Kyrylivka village council and his deputy were abducted.
It is reported by the Center for Journalist Investigations with reference to the statement of head of Zaporizhia Oblast Military Administration Oleksandr Starukh.
As he said, occupants took away head of the Kyrylivka village council Ivan Maleev, his deputy Ihor Korobka and director of the local Center for Culture, Leisure and Art Education Svitlana Shiyan. They also planned to kidnap Maryna Loginova, the Deputy Head of the village council, but she was not at her address.

«Handcuffed Ivan Maleev and Ihor Korobka were taken away with blindfolds in an unknown direction. Occupants robbed the administration of the community and the Center for administrative services – they took the humanitarian aid that was intended for the residents of the village», – said Starukh.

Russian special services kidnapp Ivan Maleev for the second time: in April, he was detained for about a week and then released.
Sources of the CJI report that Ivan Maleev did not cooperate with the occupants: «He and his subordinates declared in their public statements on the official website of the Kyrilivka council that Kyrylivka is Ukraine».
